Double Maple Seed-Pod with Keum-boo
This pendant was created by covering an actual doule maple seed-pod with several layers of silver paste and then fired in a kiln. The result is a fine silver object that is then polished, the edges smoothed out, and chain added. The next step is adding the 24 k gold leaf (keum-boo), and finally patina in added to achieve the desired color.
