This ring was made from casting a hyacinth flower by applying layers of silver paste, letting it dry between each coat, then firing in kiln. I added wire for stamens and mounted it on a textured adjustable ring shank and finally added patina.
This is one of my favorite rings because hyacinth is a flower for Nowruz celebration in Iran and I still get a plant for my vernal equinox spread.
